Sana Alabdulwahed is an Art Center College of Design Masters graduate, in Environmental design, specializing in Furniture and Fixtures. She designed El_Masnad, a furnishing inspired by the Middle Eastern leisure culture. El_Masnad is a silver award winner in the A'Design Award & Competition.

El_Masnad Lounge Carpet by Sana Armrests, traditionally, initiates nodes where the space is highly activated in Saudi Arabia. El_Masnad uses armrest as the main component for seating unit and neglect all other parts of a seating device. El_Masnad brings the users close to the ground, so it is much more playful and intuitive for this demographic. It allows the Sitting behaviors to emerge organically and intuitively in many different configurations.
